APS Wellington Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria :

Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) :
Two-year Integrated Post Graduate M.A./M.Sc. from an NCERT Regional College of Education in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks,
OR
Post-Graduation with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent grade) along with a three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed.,
OR
Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, History, or Psychology from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) :
Four-year Integrated Degree from an NCERT Regional College of Education in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks,
OR
Post-Graduation with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent grade) along with a three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed.,
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in Hindi, Science (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics), Sanskrit, or Computer Science.

Primary Teacher (PRT) :
Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks, along with B.El.Ed / 2-year D.El.Ed,
OR B.P.Ed or D.P.Ed from a recognized institution.
Subject-specific requirements ;
Dance: Diploma in Dance with proficiency in English communication.
Computer Science: BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/B.Tech (CSE/IT).
Art & Craft: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Art & Craft with minimum 50% marks.

Kindergarten Teacher (KGT) :
Minimum two-year Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education (D.El.Ed).
OR B.Ed (Nursery) from an NCTE-approved institution.
NTT / Montessori training from a recognized institute.
ECCE qualification from IGNOU / NIOS / other recognized NCTE institutions.

Application Fee :
All candidates: ₹250/-.

Age Limit :
Fresh candidates: Below 40 years.
Experienced candidates: 40–55 years (minimum 5 years of experience in the last 10 years required).
