Educational Qualification :
Candidates must have the minimum qualification required for the specific post mentioned in Annexure-I.
Basic posts: 10th pass is sufficient (e.g., MTS, Peon, Safaiwala).
Technical posts: 10th pass + ITI/Diploma (e.g., Draughtsman, Surveyor, Driver, Operator).
Special skill/experience posts: 10th pass + relevant work experience (e.g., Seacunny, Engine Operator, Cook in some cases).
Each post has separate eligibility, so reading the official annexure is mandatory.

Age Limit :
Age will be calculated as on 28-06-2026.
General limits (Group C) ;
Male: 18 to 33 years.
Female: 18 to 38 years.
Relaxations ;
OBC / ST / PwD candidates get additional age relaxation.
Ex-servicemen and government employees get relaxation as per rules.

Selection Process :
The selection will be done in three stages ;
Stage 1: Tier-I (Main Exam) ;
Computer/Tablet-based MCQ test
Each question = 1 mark.
Wrong answer = -0.25 negative marking.
Final merit is based only on this score.
Stage 2: Tier-II (Qualifying Test) ;
Physical test / skill test / trade test (if required for post).
This stage is only qualifying, not counted in merit.
Stage 3 ;
Document verification of shortlisted candidates.

Application Fee :
General / OBC / EWS (Male): ₹100.
Female candidates: No fee.
ST candidates: No fee.
PwBD candidates: No fee.
Fee is non-refundable.

Who Cannot Apply :
You are not eligible if ;
You are not an Indian citizen.
You do not meet post-wise qualification.
You exceed age limit without relaxation.
You are OBC from outside A&N (treated as General category).
You falsely claim reservation benefits.
You are not willing to work in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
