Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must be Indian citizens. Educational qualifications vary by post ;
Graduate Posts (SI, ASI, etc.): Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with a valid LMV driving license (for most posts).
12th Level Posts (Constable, SI Master, etc.): Higher Secondary pass with required skills/technical qualifications.
10th Level Posts (Technical/Follower): Matric pass with ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trade, along with experience and driving license (where required).
Certain posts may require additional/desirable qualifications.
Age Limit (as on 17 May 2026) :
Sub-Inspector: Up to 30 years.
Constable/Bandsmen/VHF Operator: 18–25 years (Male), 18–30 years (Female).
Technical/Follower Posts: 18–33 years (Male), 18–38 years (Female).
Other posts: As per specific post requirements.
Relaxation :
Applicable for ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and other eligible categories as per government rules.
Application Fee :
₹100/- for General/OBC/EWS male candidates.
No fee for ST and female candidates.
Payment proof must be uploaded online.
Pay Scale :
SI: Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400).
HC/ASI: Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100).
Constable/Technical: Level 3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100).
Follower Staff: Level 1–2 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900).
Includes allowances like DA, HRA, and other benefits.
Selection Process :
Physical Measurement & Endurance Test (qualifying).
Written Examination (objective type with negative marking).
Trade/Skill Test (if applicable).
Document Verification & Medical Examination.
Final merit based on written exam and trade test performance.
Documents Required :
Educational certificates, experience proof, driving license, caste certificate, ID proof, photographs, and other relevant documents.
