AMC Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria :

Applicants must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on 14-05-2026.
Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates must have passed SSC (Class 10) from a recognized board.
Additional merit marks are awarded for higher educational qualifications, engineering diplomas/degrees, fire-fighting certifications, NCC certificates, computer courses, and AMC Auxiliary Task Force service.
Knowledge of Gujarati language is relevant for the post.
Reserved category benefits are applicable only to original residents of Gujarat possessing valid certificates issued by the Gujarat Government.

Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years.
Maximum Age: 32 Years.
Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS, PwBD candidates, women candidates, and eligible AMC Auxiliary Task Force volunteers as per government rules. The maximum age limit including relaxation shall generally not exceed 45 years.

Application Fee :
General / Unreserved Candidates: ₹500/-.
EWS / SEBC / SC / ST Candidates: ₹250/-.
PwBD Candidates: Exempted from fee payment.
The fee must be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Application fees are non-refundable.
Physical Standards
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed physical standards related to height, weight, chest measurement, and medical fitness. Applicants with physical deformities, color blindness, defective vision, hearing issues, or other disqualifying medical conditions will not be considered eligible.

Selection Process :
Selection for the Assistant Fireman post will be conducted through ;
Physical Standards Verification.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
Merit List Preparation based on PFT and educational qualification marks.
Document Verification.
Only candidates qualifying all stages will be considered for final selection.

After successful submission of the application form and fee payment, candidates will receive an application number through SMS on their registered mobile number.

SSC marksheet and age proof.
Educational qualification certificates.
Gujarat caste/category certificates.
Non-Creamy Layer or EWS certificate (if applicable).
Fire-fighting, NCC, and computer course certificates.
PwBD certificate (if applicable).
Passport-size photograph.
