Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must satisfy one of the following educational qualifications ;
A three-year Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Agricultural Entomology, or allied life science disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, OR
M.Sc. degree in Zoology / Agricultural Entomology / related fields.

Preferred Academic Standard :
Candidates with a first-class academic record in both undergraduate and postgraduate studies will be preferred.

Desired Technical Expertise :
Candidates having practical exposure in the following areas will be given advantage ;
Insect rearing and hemolymph extraction.
Protein isolation, purification, and characterization.
Enzyme-based and biochemical assays.
SDS-PAGE and protein analysis techniques.
Molecular biology methods including ;
RNA isolation.
cDNA synthesis.
PCR.
Gene cloning.
Recombinant protein expression.
Microbial culture techniques.
In vitro and in vivo experimental work.

Additional Preference :
Candidates with valid GATE / NET (Life Sciences) qualification will be preferred.

Age Limit :
Maximum permissible age: 35 years.

Relaxation Policy :
Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India / ICMR guidelines.

Salary Structure :
Selected candidates will be entitled to ;
Monthly salary of ₹28,000.
Additional 20% HRA for the initial two years.
After two years, a 5% increment on initial emoluments subject to performance review.
