Candidates applying for the Junior Resident, Non-Academic post must fulfil the prescribed educational and professional requirements.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences Kalyani Junior Resident Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification :
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from an institution recognised by the National Medical Commission, NMC.
Candidates must have completed the compulsory rotating internship.
Candidates must possess registration with any State Medical Council.
Candidates are required to produce the Internship Completion Certificate and valid medical registration documents during document verification.
Candidates whose compulsory rotating internship is completed on or before 24 August 2026 may also apply and appear in the Written Examination and, where applicable, the Interview.

MBBS Passing Requirement :

Previous Junior Residency :
Candidates who have already completed two terms of Junior Residency, Non-Academic, either at AIIMS or any other institution, will not be considered eligible.
For this purpose, experience in Army services, Central Health Services, private nursing homes, and private practice is treated as equivalent to Junior Residency, Non-Academic experience.
One term of Junior Residency is considered to be six months. If a candidate joins a Junior Residency term and leaves before completing the period, it will still be counted as one full term.

The maximum age limit for the Junior Resident, Non-Academic post is 33 years as on the last date of submission of the application.
Age relaxation is available to eligible reserved and special categories as prescribed under the applicable Government rules.
PwBD candidates: 10 years.
SC/ST candidates: 5 years.
OBC candidates: 3 years.

Selected candidates appointed as Junior Residents at AIIMS Kalyani will receive remuneration according to the applicable pay structure.
The post carries a 6th Central Pay Commission pay scale of ₹15,600 to ₹39,100 with Grade Pay of ₹5,400. Under the 7th Central Pay Commission, the post is placed at Pay Matrix Level 10, along with Non-Practicing Allowance, NPA, for medical graduates, as applicable.
Candidates should note that no travelling allowance or other allowance will be paid for joining the post.

The selection process consists of document verification, a Written Examination and a Personal Interview.
Written Examination :
