Eligibility :

General Eligibility Rules ;
Maximum age: 35 years (all posts).
Eligibility cut-off date: 25 June 2026 (last date for online application).
Experience counted: Only post-qualification experience.
Foreign degrees: Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities or NMC required.

Cath Lab Technician : B.Sc. Cardiac Technology, OR 2-year Diploma + 2 years Cath Lab experience.

CSSD Technician : B.Sc. (Microbiology/Medical Technology) + 3 years CSSD (200-bed hospital); OR Staff Nurse (A Grade) + 2 years CSSD; OR Theatre Assistant + 4 years CSSD.

Echo-Cardiographic Technician : B.Sc. Cardiac Laboratory Technologies + 1 year experience, OR Master's degree. Desirable: Full echo study capability.

ECG Technician : 10+2 Science + 2-year ECG Diploma.

Medical Lab Technician : 10+2 Science + Diploma in Medical Lab Technology. Desirable: B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology.

Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technician : B.Sc. Anaesthesia & OT Technologist, OR B.Sc. OT Technology, OR B.Sc. Anaesthesia Technology.

Ophthalmic Technician (Grade-I) : B.Sc. Optometry/Ophthalmic Techniques or equivalent.

Perfusionist : B.Sc. + Certificate in Perfusion Technology + 1 year Clinical Perfusion experience. Desirable: Clinical Perfusion work experience.

Radio Therapy Technician (Grade-II) : B.Sc. (Hons.) Radiotherapy/Radiology, OR Diploma + 2 years experience. Desirable: Computer skills.

Radiographic Technician (Grade-I) : B.Sc. (Hons.) Radiography, OR Diploma + 2 years experience. Desirable: Computer skills.

Application Fee :
Fee: Rs. 1,000/- (all categories).
Non-refundable, paid online during application.
No exemptions for any category.

Pay Scale :
Fixed monthly remuneration: Rs. 51,684/- (uniform for all 10 posts).
Contractual pay only – no PF, NPS, Gratuity, Medical Attendance, Seniority, Promotion, or regular government benefits.

Contract Conditions :
Validity : Up to 31 October 2026 OR until MoHFW regular posts filled (earlier date).
Institute termination : 1 month notice.
Resignation : 30 days notice or salary equivalent.
Employment type : Whole-time only; no other work/private practice.
Work flexibility : Shifts possible; posting anywhere within Institute.
TA/DA : Not provided for test/verification/joining.
Absorption : No claim for permanent employment.

Selection Process :
Applied Test/Interview: 100 marks total.
Provisional permission based on application (no prior document check).
Document verification at test/interview time.

Test/Interview (100 marks) – Date notified on www.aiimsjammu.edu.in. Venue: Academic Block, 5th Floor, AIIMS Vijaypur, Jammu – 181134.
Document Verification – At test/interview and before joining.
Tie-Breaking ;
Equal marks: older candidate (earlier DOB) ranked higher.
Waiting List & Results ;
Waiting list maintained for eligible unaccommodated candidates.
Vacancies filled from waiting list by merit/category.
Results published only on www.aiimsjammu.edu.in.
Failure to join by stipulated date = selection cancelled.
