Educational Qualification & Experience :

Candidates must hold MBBS along with the required MD/MS/D.M./M.Ch./Ph.D. qualification in the concerned specialty from a recognized institution.

For super-specialty disciplines (D.M./M.Ch. – 2/3/5/6 year courses), one year of experience is generally required; however, the experience requirement is relaxed for candidates who have completed 3-year or 6-year super-specialty programs, as applicable.

For broad specialty and academic disciplines such as Biostatistics, Hospital Administration, Neonatology, Nuclear Medicine, Orthopedics, Radiotherapy, Trauma & Emergency Medicine, and Transfusion Medicine, three years of teaching/research experience is required as specified.

Additional specialization-specific training (e.g., Blood Bank training, Linear Accelerator experience in Radiotherapy, etc.) will be considered desirable where mentioned.

Pay Scale :
Entry Level: Pay Matrix Level-12.
₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400 (as per 7th CPC).
Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) applicable for eligible medical posts.
Other allowances and benefits as per Central Government norms.

Age Limit (as on 28/03/2026) :
Upper Age Limit: 50 years.
Maximum Age after Relaxation: 55 years.

Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 years.
OBC – 3 years.
PwBD – 5 years.
Government Servants – 5 years.
Ex-Servicemen – 5 years.

EWS – ₹2,400.
